Senator Ned Nwoko has praised one of his wives, Laila, describing her as someone who doesn't live on social media nor chases attention.

This was as he lamented that unkind words directed at her are being thrown around on social media, which don't describe her character.

Nwoko said this on social media amid a crisis rocking his marriage to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, which has gained media attention.

He said, "In a world where noise travels faster than truth, I want to take a moment to speak about the woman I know, the woman I love, and the woman I cherish. My wife, Laila. She is a woman whose quiet strength continues to amaze me every single day.
