'She didn't know this wasn't real' - Damson Idris reveals his mother's reaction to his movie roles

British-Nigerian actor, Damson Idris has disclosed his mother's hilarious reaction to his acting.

According to Idris, it was hard for his mother to accept that every role or character he plays in movies are make-believe and are not real.

He mentioned a funny instance where he played the role of a drug dealer and his mom said, "Ah ah, now you're selling cocaine".

Idris stated: "I'm from Nigeria okay. So my mom didn't know that this wasn't real. He thought everything was real.

"First time I had an on-screen kiss, she said, 'ah ah Damson, how can you cheat on your girlfriend in front of the whole family'"
