Nigerian-American singer Shaboozey has achieved another milestone in the United States with his hit song ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy).’

According to the music monitoring platform Chart Data, the song is now officially the most streamed song in the U.S in 2024.

Reports indicate that it has surpassed Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ and Benson Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things’ to become the best-selling song in America this year.

‘Tipsy’ has also become the longest-running #1 single of 2024 on the Hot 100, holding the top spot for seven weeks.

It has beaten ‘I Had Some Help’ by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen.

In July, the Nigeria-born record breaker, Shaboozey, joined Beyoncé as the only Black artist to simultaneously top the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
