Nigerians have taken a swipe at comedian, Seyi Law after he was spotted in a viral video taking a lady's number in a public vehicle.

A woman named Serah Ibrahim criticized the comedian by posting a video of him taking a lady's number in a public transportation.

Serah Inrahim declared that she was positive that he was taking her number in order to email her the screenshots he had provided to the president's son, Seyi Tinubu.

She wrote: “Seyilaw @seyilaw1, I’m sure you are just taking her number, so you can also be sending her the screenshots you send to Seyi Tinubu”.

Seyi Law responded to the lady by saying he knew she secretly wished it was her number that he had taken. He clarified that he was requested to host an event in Abuja for the woman in the viral video, Yetunde from Unilorin.

He also mentioned the lady's relationship with Dr. Wisdom, the head of the record label that Nasboi is on.

He wrote, “Serah Ibrahim, you wish it was your number. That is YETUNDE from the University of LINCOLN and their event in Nigeria happened on the 25th of May, which I couldn’t host because of my show in Abuja. She is such a beautiful lady.

"She is also a friend of my friend, Dr Wisdom, the record label owner who signed Nasboi. Mo ju iyalaya e lo, Serah”.

Several social media users expressed their opinion that the video was inappropriate, pointing out that it was improper to record someone without their permission. Some made fun of the comedian as well.
