Sexual Assault: Baba Ijesha pleads not guilty

Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, appeared before court in Ikeja today on allegations of sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl.

In photos taken from the court, Baba Ijesha wore a white hoodie with a face mask. He was handcuffed to another person as he arrives in court in a black van.

Baba Ijesha is said to be facing a six-count of attempted sexual assault and indecent treatment of a child.

During the court proceedings, he pleaded not guilty to all six counts.

According to reports, Baba Ijesha has beefed up his defence team with two Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs), Dada Awosika (SAN) and Babatunde Ogala (SAN).
