Talent manager Teebillz has urged music icon, Innocent Idibia, who is also known as 2Baba to seek therapy amid the crisis that has rocked his marriage to Edo lawmaker Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.
He made this known via a post on Instagram, citing a moment when 2Baba confided in him.
Teebillz recalled visiting Nigeria for his father’s birthday, where 2Baba pleaded with him to stay longer.
“My first time back in Nigeria after being gone so long, when I came for my father’s birthday… you begged me to stay longer. You paid for my ticket change, hugged me, and cried on my shoulder… ‘Billy, I’ve had no one to talk to since you left…'”
Teebillz stated that this honesty cemented his love for the singer: “That moment—your honesty—made me love you as my big brother.”
Acknowledging his own struggles (“I’m fighting my own demons too”), Teebillz pleaded with 2Baba to seek professional help, warning against the consequences of ignoring mental health issues, referencing deceased legends.
He wrote: “Now it’s time to get help. Therapy… even clinical support if needed. There’s no shame in choosing life. We’ve seen how legends like Michael Jackson, Whitney, Prince, and Majek Fashek suffered when they didn’t face their demons.”
Teebillz concluded his message with advice that many interpreted as a reference to 2Baba’s troubled marriage to Natasha Osawuru:
“And honestly… it’s better to stand alone than be with a woman who only loves your best side or feeds your worst.”
He ended by reaffirming his love: “I love you, King Two. @official2baba.”
