Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, surprised many social media users when he made an appearance in church.
A video of the singer has surfaced showing him attending church on Tuesday, December 31st, to cross over into the new year, 2025. In the video, Ruger shared his encounter with God and expressed his eagerness to praise and thank God for His benevolence and faithfulness.
The singer mentioned that he had told his manager to schedule any shows before the crossover service because he wouldn't miss it for anything. He also noted that he hadn't cried in four years, but on the crossover day, he cried upon encountering God again.
Ruger also commended the church for nurturing great individuals like himself who have become assets to the community and the country at large.
Singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, was also present in the church and expressed her excitement about receiving an invitation from Ruger's mother to fellowship with them. She promised not to miss the crossover service and expressed profound gratitude to the church leaders and to God.
