Respect your parents, they sacrificed their growth for yours – IK Ogbonna to his fans

Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has emphasized the importance of treating parents with respect.

The actor said this is due to the fact that many parents sacrificed their personal development in order to provide for their children.

IK in a post he shared on Instagram urged his fans and followers to appreciate and honor their parents.

He noted that many parents had not reached their potentials as a result of forgoing their own personal growth in order to better their children's.

IK said when these kids become older, they ought to make amends to their parents for sacrificing their own growth to raise them to be who they are.

He wrote: "Dear bro/sis, Respect and honor your parents always
Many parents are not where they meant to be…coz they sacrificed their personal growth for yours. It’s time to pay them back”.
