Rema is the toppest among the young atistes - Timaya

Nigerian musician Inetimi Timaya Odon, who is better known by the stage name Timaya, has expressed his opinion on the country's top young performer.

In an interview on Wednesday, November 16, Timaya stated that Rema was the best up-and-coming performer in the nation.

He said: "I’m a fan of Rema, among all the young boys, he’s the toppest. Yes oh, Rema is their Dad oh, yes na, see his dressing, like he is intentional, he’s music, his performance, and he is a fine young boy."

Rema is a 22-year-old and an indigene of Edo state, who is signed under D'Prince's Jonzing World, a division of Don Jazzy's Mavin Records.

The youngster is one of the young Nigerian musicians creating waves throughout the world with his music.

Since coming to prominence in 2019, Rema has received numerous awards including The Future Awards Africa Prize for Music, the City Peoples Award for Revelation of the Year, and the Headies Award for Next Rated.
