'Rema has made Nigeria proud' - Praises as Guinness World Records recognizes singer

Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor who is popularly known as Rema has given Nigeria and the music industry an international recognition as his works and efforts have been recognized by Guinness World Records.

The singer's song "Calm Down" presently holds the top spot on The Official MENA Chart for the first time ever.

On Spotify, "Calm Down" has received close to 388,000,000 streams, while its popular remix featuring US musician Selena Gomez has received a staggering 717,512,920 streams.

Guinness World Records, the leading authority on all things record-breaking, created a publication about this achievement and published it on their official Twitter page.

The 23-year-old has received congratulations from numerous Nigerians and the entire continent of Africa, for such a tremendous achievement.
