The singer took to his verified Twitter page to announce the win and appreciated his fans for helping him achieve the feat.

He revealed that his album, Rave and Roses, did a remarkable one billion streams in eight months. He also disclosed that he sold out every show in the United Kingdom.

He wrote: “Sold out every show in the UK, Album racked a Billion streams in 8 months, I can’t count my plaques anymore, my gang is eating good, stole your girlfriends, now I’m unto the next, luv y’all peace.”
