The ongoing marital controversy surrounding Nollywood star Regina Daniels took a new turn after she publicly confronted Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), over his recent comments about her family.
Rollas had earlier weighed in on the tensions involving Regina, her mother Rita Daniels, and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko—remarks that did not sit well with the actress.
In a fiery response shared via her Instagram story, Regina rebuked Rollas for inserting himself into her personal affairs. Although she began her message with “respectfully,” she quickly dismissed the AGN president’s intervention as inappropriate, claiming he had no moral or professional right to discuss her marriage.
Regina went further, questioning Rollas’ credibility as the leader of the actors’ union. She alleged that in his eight years as AGN president, he had failed to protect the welfare of actors and had instead focused on using the office for personal enrichment.
The actress accused Rollas of visiting government and private offices to “chase money” rather than advocating for the industry. She also pointed out that the only significant project completed under his administration—a building Rollas often flaunts—was one she claims her family largely funded.
Taking the accusations even deeper, Regina alleged that Rollas frequently brought women to her home under the guise of taking swimming lessons, despite her repeated warnings. She further insinuated that he acted as a middleman, connecting women to wealthy men for financial gain.
Regina concluded her statement by suggesting that Rollas had been paid to make disparaging remarks about her family, insisting that she had never benefited from his leadership.
