The family drama between Nollywood star Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has taken yet another emotional twist as her mother, Rita Daniels, publicly voiced her frustrations over the turmoil rocking her daughter’s marriage.

In a recent video that has gone viral online, the veteran actress didn’t hold back her words as she lashed out at Nwoko, accusing him of exploiting the success of others to elevate his public image.

Her remarks come amid the ongoing social media outbursts from her children, Regina and her brother Sweezzy, who have both accused the politician of targeting their family.

Rita Daniels, visibly upset in the footage shared by Sweezzy, alleged that Ned Nwoko has been “using the glory of those greater than him” to promote himself. She warned that his arrogance and actions would eventually lead to his downfall.

The actress further claimed that despite the public perception of Nwoko as a powerful and wealthy man, much of his political strength came from her daughter’s influence and financial support.

According to her, during his senatorial campaign, Regina reportedly contributed $50,000 of her own money and invested her personal resources to ensure his success.

In a fiery rant, Rita also mocked the lawmaker’s supposed wealth, challenging people to examine his children closely and question whether they truly “look like the children of a millionaire.” She went as far as calling him a “madman” and accusing him of “biting the hand that fed him.”

This latest confrontation adds fuel to the already intense public feud between Regina and her husband.

Earlier, the actress had taken to Instagram in tears, accusing Nwoko of ordering the arrest of her siblings and labeling her a drug addict. She lamented that she was “losing her mind” and pleaded for him to stop targeting her family.

The unfolding family crisis has garnered massive attention online, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing concern over the deterioration of the once-admired couple’s relationship.

Many have urged both parties to handle their differences privately rather than through social media.
