Rapper Blaqbonez reacts to Portable's arrest

Fast-rising Nigerian rapper Emeka Ahamefule also known as Blaqbonez has reacted to the arrest of his contentious colleague, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile Portable.

Recall that the controversial singer was detained by the police on Friday, March 31, for alleged assault.

The command informed the public that Portable would remain in custody until Monday, April 3, when he would be arraigned in court.

Speaking about Portable's predicament, Blaqbonez posted a conversation he had with the troubled singer last week on Twitter.

He claims that a person he recently spoke with is currently serving a life sentence.

Portable in the chat had appealed to Blaqbonez for them to do a piece together which he agreed.

He wrote: “Damn just last week he said we should get in the studio, now he’s serving a life sentence. Till we meet again my bro.”

The Ogun state police detained Portable for three days before his court appearance on Monday, April 3.

He had earlier been resisting arrest after a petition was made against him and was called to answer to it.

According to the police, they have invited him several times to the police station but he never honoured their invitation.
