Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has issued a warning to fans of his colleagues to stop comparing him with their favourites (faves) for clout.

Egbuson stated that he has noticed a recent trend where promoters and fans involve his name in conversations on social media just to promote their faves and clients.

In reaction, the actor mentioned that he has his own fanbase, which has been supportive for 15 years.

Taking to his X handle, he wrote: “I can smell a PR campaign from a mile away, and tbh, it’s getting boring. Push your fave in peace and leave my name out of the conversations. I’ve found my tribe, and they love my work. 15 years strong.”
