Popular singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo has sent words across to Nigeria's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to organise a compulsory debate for all presidential candidates.
He added that the INEC should disqualify aspirants who would fail to attend the presidential debate.
According to the singer, he prefers hearing the candidates themselves on their plans for the country, rather than assuming they will know what to do when they assume office.
“I can’t wait for the presidential debate. This time we must insist on the presidential debate. Dear @inecnigeria, we insist. If you don’t show up, you should be disqualified. We can no longer assume you will know what to do. Come and tell us,” he said.
