Nigerian singer, Bigiano, has claimed he wrote Davido's popular hit single, Dami Duro.

Speaking in a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, he said he wrote the hook for the song that made it a viral anthem after it was released.

“I wrote Dami Duro for Davido. I wrote the hook,” he claimed.

He also indicated that despite being away from music, he remains financially stable.

“Sometimes, you have to take a break to be able to come back again. I went on a sabbatical to make my return to music massive," stressing “I can’t be broke.”

Dami Duro shot Davido to fame after it was released in 2011.

The song has been named among the “greatest Afrobeats songs of all time” by several local and international buffs.

However, Bigiano is not officially credited as a co-writer of the song.

Davido is yet to react to his claims of co-writing the hit song.
