Popular Nigerian-born Ghanaian comedian and event MC, Nana Osei Bonsu, also known as Okokobioko in showbiz has disclosed in an exclusive interview with MyNigeria.com, why he was expelled from school.

According to the talented comedian, being expelled was one of the worst experiences of his life.

Speaking for the first time about the ordeal, Okokobioko said he was caught writing a mathematics examination for other students.

"When I entered school, I was at AIT, Accra Institute of Technology. At some point, I got expelled. I think this is the first time I'm saying this on TV or on camera. I was very good with mathematics when I finished my remedial. Like, very good.

"In school, everybody knew me with maths; my lecturers and my classmates. So at some point, I had students - some of my mates, that I was teaching., and I was collecting money.

"When it was time for exams, I realized the students were willing to pay me any amount to write their exams for them. So I took money from about three different students. I actually went with my junior sister, she was also good at maths. We went inside, we sat down and wrote the exams," he said.

He continued that he successfully wrote the exams for the students, but the next day, another student who was also involved in the act was caught, and unfortunately for Okokobioko, he was snitched on.

"The exam was like two hours, in 30 minutes, we were done, and we came out successfully.

"The next day, they caught some other guy. And they told him that they heard that some other people do this. But if he can mention names, they will reduce his punishment ... and he mentioned my name," he lamented.

Okokobioko talked about how his parents were completely disappointed by his actions, adding that, he turned a new leaf afterwards.

"I met some panel, I got expelled, and it was the worst moment of my life. My dad was angry. Insults upon insults every morning. But my mom was like, 'you have messed up but we can't keep talking about it, let's move on'"
