The Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has admitted that Catholic Priests and nun watch pornography on the internet.

The Pope said that internet porn was a ‘vice’ shared between members of the church when he spoke to seminarians in Rome on Monday, October 26.

Article 2354 states that catholic priests and nun are forbidden from watching pornography with the Catechism defining sexual imagery as an ‘offense against chastity’.

In 2020, Pope Francis’ Instagram account appeared to ‘like’ a racy photo of a Brazilian bikini model dressed in stockings and suspenders.

The model, Natalie Garibotto, said the pontiff’s verified Franciscus account was among the thousands that liked the October 5 image.

The account subsequently ‘unliked’ the photo, shortly before the Vatican said it was launching an inquiry as the Pope’s social media accounts are managed by a team.

‘At least I’m going to heaven,’ she joked after the incident drew attention on social media.
