Police officer tried to kill me and my family, I have proof - Seun Kuti speaks

Grammy Award nominee, Seun Kuti has broken his silence after a video of him assaulting a police officer surfaced.

In the video circulating social media, Suen Kuti was seen confronting a police officer as he proceeded to slapping and pushing him.

The incident was said to have occurred on the Third Mainland bridge.

Reacting to the viral video, Seun Kuti said the police officer tried to kill him and his family. Adding that he has the proof.

He also noted that he has agreed not to press charges following the police officer's apology.

However, he ask the public to mind their business so as for the police officer not to lose his job.

"He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof but I no dey chase clout. He has apologised and I have agreed not to press charges. Make una mind una business. Make the poor guy no lose him job." Seun posted on his Instagram story.

Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has order the immediate arrest of Seun Kuti.
