Popular Nigerian filmmaker, Jade Osiberu took to Twitter to narrated her ordeal after she got scammed by an online grocery vendor.

Jade revealed that she got scammed off over N50,000 for some food items she ordered online.

She said that when she had finished placing her orders and sent the money, the vendor had deleted the page.

Reporting the case to the police, she tweeted that the officer told her to let it go as it will cost her more money to pursue the case.

Feeling disappointed, she described the country as a 'shit hole'.

“Got scammed by a fake IG grocery vendor (50k ff), never happened to me b4. Called a police contact telling him I have the guy’s account details so it should be an easy arrest. He said, just let it go. It’ll cost more to “help/empower” the investigation. Naija is a shit hole.”
