The police in Ogun State have arraigned singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, at the Isabo High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun, for allegedly assaulting some officials of the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Portable surrendered himself to the police after being declared wanted on Monday. He was then taken to Ogun State and handed over to the Command.
Portable appeared in court on Thursday morning to face charges of assault.
Before surrendering, the singer had apologized to the Ogun State Government for his actions.
He claimed that he had been suffering from an illness, which is why he had not reported himself to the police.
Meanwhile, VeryDarkMan has called on Nigerians to stop pleading for Portable's release, as he has a history of assaulting people.
The activist, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, shared videos of Portable and his friends assaulting people.
