'Please consider me' - Man begs Davido as he ‘mistakenly’ sends N500k into his account, shares receipts

A Nigerian man identified as Ayomide has alleged that he has mistakenly deposited the sum of N500,000 into Afrobeats singer Davido's Wema bank account.

Taking to his X page, the young man disclosed that he intended to transfer money to a friend, but the account's name sounded too similar to the one he had in mind, so he mistakenly sent it to the wrong one.

Conversely, he pleaded with the public to help him figure out how to get his money back from the Afrobeats superstar.

He wrote, “Good day sir Mr David Adeleke @davido I want to bring your awareness about an issue pls”.

“I will want you to consider me I mistakenly sent #500,000 naira to you Wema Bank with this acct num0123044967 Which was supposed to be sent to a friend of mine which name is also David Adeleke”.
