A dark cloud has fallen over the family of BBNaija winner, Phyna, as her beloved sister, Ruth Otabor, passes away in the most heartbreaking of circumstances.

The devastating news was announced on Phyna’s official Instagram page through a solemn public notice.

Recall that just weeks ago, Ruth’s life took a tragic turn when she was crushed by a truck belonging to the Dangote Group, barely six days after joyfully graduating from university in her home town, Edo State.

The accident left her severely injured. One of her legs was amputated in a desperate bid to save her life, while there were reports that the other might also be taken.

Through it all, Ruth fought with unimaginable courage, but the unbearable pain proved too much for her fragile body to endure. Sadly, she has now gone to rest.

In their letter to the public, the Otabor family pleaded for privacy and quietness as they grieve this irreplaceable loss, asking for time to mourn their precious daughter and sister.
