BBNaija winner Phyna has revealed the identity of the driver who drove the Dangote truck that crushed her sister, Ruth Otabor, rendering her an amputee.

MyNigeria reported that Otabor was crushed by the truck belonging to Dangote Group just six days after she graduated from school in Edo.

She was immediately hospitalised, where one of her legs was amputated, with reports indicating that the other leg may face the same fate.

Sharing the photo of the truck driver, Phyna lamented that he could not understand English.

She shared on X, "See the kind of people that drives your truck!!!!! This is the driver, them say e no even hear English….. God ooooo Nigerians help me ooooooo. Where will I start from."

Meanwhile, in a statement on Thursday, Dangote Group said its officials visited the victim at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Edo State, adding that full support is being provided for her.

"Following the recent road accident in Auchi, Edo State, involving one of our trucks, which sadly resulted in injury to Mrs. Ruth Otabor, senior officials from Dangote Cement Plc, together with our Insurance team, promptly visited the scene, engaged with law enforcement authorities, and visited the victim and her family at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Edo State.

"This action reflects our unwavering commitment to the well-being of those affected. We are ensuring full support for Mrs. Otabor, including comprehensive medical care and appropriate compensation, in line with Dangote Group's welfare policy.
Our thoughts remain with Mrs. Ruth Otabor and her loved ones, and we wish her a full and speedy recovery," the organisation said.
