Peruzzi speaks on why he didn't try to settle beef between Davido and Burna Boy

Afropop musician Tobechukwu Victor Okoh better known by his stage name Peruzzi has given an explanation for why he never tried to settle the conflict between singers Burna Boy and Davido.

He said that Davido and Burna Boy were "brothers" and that he was powerless to stop it since the issue was more serious than most people realized.

Peruzzi made this claim in an interview for a Zero Conditions podcast episode that Melody, Excel, and Motolani Alake co-hosted.

The singer claimed that he never got involved because he has never been a yes man and is older than the two of them.

He stated that he still maintains a positive working relationship with Burna, the self-described African Giant, despite their dispute over the song Pull Up.
According to Peruzzi, Burna Boy and Davido will work things out between themselves.

The singer further stated in the interview that Burna Boy released the song "Pull Up" without telling him, even though he wrote the song and was meant to be featured on it.

However, he claimed that they are cool and that any differences are unfounded because what happened was common in the profession at the time.

Motolani asked: “Did any of the funny energy between him [Burna] and David affect you guys relationship?”

In response, Peruzzi said: “No, it never did. First of all I am older than both of them, ad I have never been a rubbish guy to anybody, I have never been a yes man. I will always yarn you how things…Because even when they were quarreling [chuckles].

"I didn’t try to settle it because it was deeper than normal. You know they are brothers now. They will still settle don’t worry.”
