Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has shared his thoughts on Zion and Chinwe (Zinwe), two Season 9 contestants, deciding to compete in the reality show together.

Recall that the couple revealed they had only been together for five months during the launch event on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Pere responded by sharing his thoughts on his X account and cautioning the housemates about the risks of showing their love in such a public setting, particularly so soon after being together.

He also questioned their choice to make their connection public on the BBNaija show, saying that it might endanger their friendship in the event that one of them showed interest in another housemate.

He wrote: “You get mind carry your 5-month relationship enter BBN? Aaaaah. So if your babe mistakenly falls for another guy nkor?”

Recall that Chinwe did, however, disclose the marital status of her colleagues, Kellyrae and Kassia.

The couple informed host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu at their Sunday opening ceremony introduction that they wanted to appear to be "besties" and hide their marital status from one another.

However, Chinwe had suspicions about Kassia and Kellyrae being a couple hours after the launch.

She told her partner Zion: "I feel like we are not the only couple, I feel like Kassia and Kellyrae are a couple and probably married."

Also, the other housemates are unaware of the marital tie between Kellyrae and Kassia as they have decided to hide it.
