Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has addressed allegations that he intended to use a man identified as Kolu for money rituals after bringing him from Abuja to Ogun State.
Speaking on the matter, Portable dismissed the claims and insisted that his intention was to support Kolu rather than harm him.
“I brought Kolu from Abuja and took him to Ogun State. Some people said I wanted to use him to do money ritual, but I told them I want to help him,” Portable said.
The singer expressed disappointment over the accusations, suggesting that people were quick to assume the worst despite his efforts to assist the man.
Portable also shared a few personal details about Kolu while addressing the controversy.
“Kolu too like women,” he said, adding, “Kolu is older than me.”
His remarks have sparked conversations online, with social media users reacting to both the ritual allegations and his description of Kolu. While some defended Portable’s decision to help, others weighed in on the challenges that often accompany acts of generosity in the public eye.
