'People only love you if you're rich or dead' - Alex Ekubo shares message about irony of life

Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has sent a touching message about the irony of life in the aftermath of the unfortunate loss of the young, talented Nigerian singer Mohbad.

The actor observed how people cry for the deceased while retaining hatred for the living as he posted ostentatious selfies of himself on Instagram.

Alex talked about how people avoid the destitute and envy the successful. He continued by saying that only if you are rich, famous, or deceased would people love you.

Alex described the reality as fascinating as he wrapped off his lesson.

He wrote: “We cry for the dead, yet keep malice with the living. We envy the successful & avoid the broke ones. People only love you if you are rich, doing well, or dead. What an interesting life we live”.

His comment section received a lot of support from those who agreed with him and pointed out how hypocritical society is.
