PHOTOS: Davido visits Commission of Police ahead of Lagos concert

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke widely known as Davido, has paid a visit to the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, ahead of his highly anticipated Lagos concert.

The superstar explained that his visit was necessitated by the safety of his fans and everyone else who would attend his ‘Timeless’ concert slated for Sunday, April 23 at the Tafawa Balewa Square.

He said that working with the police was his team's intentional actions to ensure the safety of all guests in addition to himself.

As this was the first time such a thing would be done in this climate, he expressed the hope that other artists would go on to copy the action.
