Popular comedian and skit maker Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, professionally known as Brain Jotter, has voiced strong frustration over the pervasive breakdown of trust, inflation, and dishonest business practices in Nigeria.

Speaking during a recent interview about the daily struggles faced by everyday citizens, the content creator shared personal encounters with extortion and fraudulent transactions across various services.

"Lack of trust is alarming in Nigeria. You send your driver for ₦5,000, he’s buying ₦3,500. You will get a fake receipt.

"I ordered a wig for ₦850,000 for my mum. By the time it came, it was like mop. Overpriced nonsense everywhere. You don’t even know how to verify these things anymore," Brain Jotter stated.

Highlighting how deep-seated deception has become in routine transactions, Brain Jotter recounted an experience where he fell victim to a faulty vehicle purchase despite taking precautions.

"You see a car, you have to send your personal mechanic to inspect the car before you can negotiate, and they will bribe the mechanic to confirm it for you," he explained.

"I once bought a vehicle and during inspection, I could hear the engine, it sounded good. Not knowing the engine was bad. I didnt use the car for up to four days. Nigerians go through this daily," he added.
