'Our jollof has more flavour than your no-makeup face' - Ghanaians drag Hilda Baci over jollof remark

Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci has caused a stir after she made a comparison between jollof from Ghana and Nigeria.

Speaking during a podcast in Ghana, the renowned chef expressed her opinion that Ghanaian jollof lacked flavour and taste on a podcast in Ghana.

The chef claims that Nigerian jollof tastes far better than Ghanaian jollof because, in contrast to Ghanaians, Nigerians are extremely picky about flavours when cooking. As a result, Nigerians produce the tastiest jollof dishes.

Ghanaians took exception with Hilda Baci's statements and criticized her harshly for them.

Even though some people thought Hilda's criticism of Ghanaian jollof was distasteful, they felt it was still preferable to Hilda Baci's face without make-up.

Some stated that in as much as Hikda had said Ghana jollof is tasteless, it was at least better than Hilda Baci's face when she is without make-up.
