Ossai Ovie Success, a former media aide, has explained why he decided not to send N100,000 to a lady after seeing her comment about boycotting GTBank because of Verydarkman’s arrest.

In a Facebook post, Success shared his thoughts, writing: “I was about to send 100k to someone when I saw her comment about boycotting GTB because of VDM’s arrest. I told her I’m not sending and that I’m disappointed in her.”

He continued: “You guys want to boycott GTB because Very Dark Man was arrested? Isn’t that an act of wickedness and foolishness?”

Success emphasized the disconnect between supporting VDM and the potential harm caused by the boycott:

“Very Dark Man isn’t feeding you, doesn’t know you, and you have relatives and friends working at GTB yet you are encouraging people to boycott GTB.”

He questioned the consequences of such actions, adding: “Would you prefer having them jobless because VDM, who allegedly committed a crime, was arrested?”

He urged people to think before acting:

“You need to think twice before speaking.”

Success also addressed the idea of blind loyalty, pointing out the difference between supporting VDM and criticizing him when necessary:

“I know you love Very Dark Man, but please, let your love not be blind.”

He concluded: “When he’s wrong and we point out his mistakes, don’t abuse or attack us. Use your head and don’t be carried away because you’re VDM fans. We who correct him are actually his biggest lovers. You guys who hail him when he’s wrong are his biggest problem and haters. Take it from me, I’m disappointed in you guys.”
