Oscars 2024 Awards: Check out the full list of winners

The 96th edition of the Oscars didn't fail patrons as it lived up to the expectations of millions of viewers with the usual fun, intrigue, and drama.

One of the moments that caught the attention of patrons was when legendary actor, Alfred Pacino, aka Al Pacino announced the winner of the Best Picture Award.

The 83-year-old, rather than call the nominees for the category, skipped the normal protocol and announced the winner of the category which is against the tradition of the scheme.

“I see Oppenheimer,” he said.

Oppenheimer was the talk of the show at the Oscars as the three-hour-long epic movie scooped seven awards, including the Best Actor, Best Director and Best Picture categories, amongst others.

The 2023 movie which was written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan, starred Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist credited with being the ‘father of the atomic bomb’ for his role in the Manhattan Project— the World War II undertaking that developed the first nuclear weapons.

Oppenheimer was notable among the list of nominees for the much-coveted awards.
