Singer Abiodun Majemite Ekele popularly known as Oritse Femi has come to the defense of Wizkid after he referred to music executive, Don Jazzy as an “influencer”.
On Monday, April 29, 2024, Wizkid mocked his colleagues in the music industry including Mavin Records boss, in a series of tweets.
In defense of the “Essence” singer, Oritse Femi said, “If someone called you an influencer, it means you are well known and have a unique skill in you that others don’t have and that makes them run to you so you can influence them with it. I see nothing wrong if someone called you an influencer, abi the word influencer na bad thing ni? A content creator and an influencer no be the same thing o. And who’s a content creator without an influencer? So, my dear…. Influencer na big name na una dey look am less less.”
Reality TV star Phyna, also declared her love for Wizkid, following the dispute between Davido and the “Essence” singer.
In a series of posts on her X page (formerly Twitter), Phyna wrote, “I hereby declare my love for popsy.”
The Big Brother Naija winner, however, urged Wizkid to show respect to music executive, Don Jazzy.
Phyna who has had disagreement with Davido in the past, did not hesitate to address Davido’s fans, known as 30BG.
“See has all this 30BG dey cry because I move on!!!!!! I don move on make Una move on too. if popsy say Una papa he is right.
“Because Una nor wan gree say some of us actually get the mind to yarn wetin we wan yarn, Una dy use Clout chaser and attention seeker cover am baba I said what I said with my full chest…. But if the clout chaser and attention seeker can help you breath, that’s fine.”
