Nigeria's music icon Onyenka Onwenu mostly called Elegant Stallion will be laid to rest today, August 30, in Lagos State, Nigeria.

The singer reportedly collapsed and died on July 30 at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos after a stunning performance at the birthday party of Dr Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

She died at the of age 72.

The family has announced that the funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi.

The funeral flyer also indicates that the Service of Songs will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM, with the burial scheduled from 2 PM to 4 PM.
