Comedian, I Go Save, has argued that only pastors that have invested in gospel artists and promoted them to the limelight have the right to rant about the gospel artists charging churches for a ministration.
He mentioned this on his Instastories this morning, March 18.
He argued that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome invested and promoted some gospel artists into the limelight and that only he and other pastors who have invested in artists can complain about being charged by gospel singers.
“Pastor Chris personally promoted and invested heavily in some gospel musicians till they blew internationally.
Only Pastor Chris or pastors that have promoted gospel musicians to the limelight should rant about them charging churches!
Other pastors should promote and invest in the talents in their churches rather than looking for already blown gospel act made by others to promote their churches for free. Gospel artistes need to put food on their tables too like pastors on salaries from their churches.”
