Old video of Rema, Achraf Hakimi chatting surfaces after singer revealed he gave his first N1m to his mother

An old video of Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema and footballer Achraf Hakimi walking together at an event has resurfaced.

This video comes days after Achraf Hakimi made the news following his widely circulated divorce proceedings after his wife filed for divorce with attempt to take 50 per cent of his properties only to discover that he had nothing as everything is signed under his mother's name.

This discovery shocked many as with some praising Hakimi for his actions and labelling the wife a gold digger.

As a result of this development, Rema's video with Hakimi surfaced after the singer once revealed that he gave his first N1 million to his mother when he was at the age of 17.

This has caused people to label Rema a 'mummy's boy' following his action. Other netizens applauded the 'calm down' crooner for his dedication to his family.

Some social media users joked that the singer ran to the footballer for relationship advice.
