Olayinka Adebanjo appeals to Nigerians for help to become a mother again after losing her only child

Nigerian actress Olayinka Adebanjo has shared her deep grief over the death of her only child, who passed away at the age of 28.

The actress talked about the tragic event involving her son, Adeniyi Ishola, a nurse who collapsed and died while playing football, on a recent episode of the Talk2B podcast.

Although she could not reveal the precise date of his death, Adebanjo revealed that she has been subjected to hurtful comments and derision from others, with some calling her an “old age barren woman”.

The actress expressed her desire to become a mother again, stating that she would prefer to have a kid than seek adoption.

She said that although she had thought about adoption in the past, she is currently researching medical treatments that could help her become pregnant.

Olayinka Adebanjo also appealed to her fans for help, asking for help in pursuing different medical options.

She said, “I have seen a lot after the loss of my son. I have seen someone abuse it to my face that I am barren in old age. My son Adeniyi Ishola went to school to study nursing and graduated. It now came to a time when I was supposed to enjoy the fruit of my labour. He went to play football and slumped.

I have gone to where they adopt children at Abeokuta. I have spent a lot of money. That was where I was told to go for different medical tests and I have their receipts. Biola please have mercy on me. I do not want to be barren in my old age. I want to carry my child. I do not want to carry another person’s child.

Nigerians please help me. Whatever it is you can do for me. I do not want to die suddenly. Talk2B I am begging you to please do whatever you can for me. Have mercy on me.”

The host then suggested that Adebanjo look into the possibility of surrogacy, which would cost about N20 million.

The host said, “I do not know how we are going to help Aunty Yinka. I want to advise surrogacy because of her age. All I need is just resources. With N15 to N20 million we can do this."
