#OgunUnrest: The Morning after

For descriptive purpose only For descriptive purpose only

Following the constant spate of robbery attacks in Ogun State, Lagos State was next in line.

Early this morning, MyNigeria.com monitored reports of break-ins by a notorious gang, allegedly regarded as One million boys.

These gangs are known to wreak havoc by splitting into groups to carry out attacks on vulnerable communities.

After reaching out to the police again for help and getting no response, residents of Amikanle, Alagbado, Abule Egba and Ogba trooped out to restore normalcy to their society by keeping watch all night.

TVC Senior Reporter, Aneta Felix did a short cameo of the dire situation in the early hours of 1:09 am.

Here were a few responses the journalist recorded

While at Iju Ishaga, one of the boys were caught and severely dealt with.

While in Ogun- the heat zone, investigations are underway. Here is a fellow resident's shock.

Agege is on the list as well

And Ibadan as well

While no formal confessions have been obtained by the residents, MyNigeria.com gathered that robbers are known to ravage homes for foodstuffs and sometimes rape mothers and wives in homes where nothing could be snatched.
