Nigerian singer Odumodublvck is currently the subject of an internet debate. His most recent songs have caused a lot of controversy since some fans feel that they are degrading to women.
One of his detractors is a female Twitter user by the name of Ochi, who called his songs "disgusting" and advised women to be self-sufficient in order to steer clear of such negative stereotypes.
Odumodu unexpectedly replied by bringing up Ochi's earlier tweets, which looked at odds with her present position.
In a same vein, Ore Akindi, well known as the originator of Crochet, was critical of Odumodu on Twitter for his response to the criticism.
Rather than confronting the matter, he opted to draw attention to Ore's previous tweets regarding her position on sexual liberty and her disapproval of unsolicited direct messages from men.
Conversations regarding the musician's response to criticism and how women are portrayed in his songs have been spurred by these exchanges.
