Actor and comedian Imeh Bishop aka Okon Lagos has blasted critics of the Labour Party(LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi supporters.

Obi’s supporters widely known as the ‘Obidents’ have been accused of cyber bullying by supporters of other presidential candidates and anyone who opposes their candidate or ideas.

During a recent interview with radio personality, Nedu and others on the ‘Honest Bunch Podcast’, Okon Lagos provided insights on why the ‘Obidents’ engage in ‘cyber bullying’.

This was after Nedu accused the former Anambra Governor’s supporters of actively engaging in bullying.

“If you support somebody that is not Peter Obi, they’ll drag you down; they’ll bully you,” the OAP said.

Responding, the comic star said: “Listen, it is not bullying. If you come out and we are only cyber bullying you and there’s no civil war, we have tried.

“This is 200 and something million people, we have not broken.

“Do you know what we have seen? We are very angry. Do you know what eight years means in the life of even a girl or anybody that is young?

“When someone is convinced of a route towards national salvation and then, by way of your action and inaction it looks like you are jeopardising that move; it is very frustrating. He sees you as an enemy. Do you understand?!”

Speaking further via the post caption, seeing he had shared an excerpt from his podcast session on his Instagram page, the father of two argued the ‘Obidents’ were not actually bullies but simply a bunch of irate as well as broken patriots who desire genuine change for the country.

He added: “Cylinders were fired at @thehonestbunchpodcast Nigerians are very angry. That anger is what is going to be channeled to the polls without violence. It is the ballot revolution!

“Obidients aren’t bullies. They are only angry and broken patriots who crave genuine positive change for Nigeria…a Nigeria that works for ALL and not the elite sum.

“We are only angry today because we have a little energy to express it. If Nigerians are broken any further, I’m afraid they may be too hungry to be angry.

“Sadly, that could be the agenda of our oppressors!

“Let’s fix Nigeria abeg. Something tells me, it is this our one last chance!”
