The Nigerian music industry has been thrown into a state of mourning following the death of veteran actor Big Larry.
Fans and social media users were devastated after fellow Nollywood actor Stanley OnTop revealed the news of his passing.
Though the cause of Big Lary's death is yet unknown, fans and industry insiders have expressed their astonishment and sadness in the tributes that have been flooding in.
His abrupt departure brings the total number of Nollywood icons that have died away this year to a staggering number; this list includes well-known individuals like Mr. Ibu, Junior Pope, and Amaechi Mounogor.
Sharing the sad news, Stanley wrote, "Nollywood actor Big Lary just passed away. Je nke Oma big. What caused his demise is yet to be ascertained. May your soul rest in peace, Big Lary.”
