'Nollywood is a special industry' - Wizkid speaks about his acting prowess

Top singer, Wizkid's interest to be a part of Nollywood has continued to trend online.

Wizkid generated more reactions after he listed the kind of roles he would love to act.

According to the singer, Nollywood is even better than Hollywood.

Amid the reactions that has trailed the singer's statement, a throwback video his interview with BBC in 2022 resurfaced online.

In the old video, Wizkid disclosed his desire to try out Nollywood and fashion.

He said: "I don’t know if I can ever act in Nollywood movies because I don’t know if I’m that funny.

“You need a special skill and talent to be a Nollywood actor. I don’t care about Hollywood, but Nollywood is a special industry. Producing one Nollywood movie someday is something I’d love to do."
