Nollywood actors who married their colleagues

As the adage says, love is a lovely thing, and whoever finds it, finds a good thing.

Even though it can be challenging to find love, doing so at work is an amazing experience.

Some well-known Nollywood actors who have made significant contributions to the development of Nollywood are privileged and fortunate to find love among their colleagues in the industry, and that is something special and lovely!

MyNigeria highlights below some six Nollywood personalities who have been fortunate enough to find life partners in the movie industry.

Nolloywood actresses who married their colleagues:

1. Adesua Etomi and Banky W

Nollywood actress and singer Adesua Etomi met colleague Banky W on the set of the acclaimed film "The Wedding Party.

The actors who played the couple in the film eventually got married in 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa, in a private ceremony attended by loved ones.

The pair have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy named Hazaiah Olusegun Wellington, who was born in January 2021.

2. Linda Ejiofor and Ibrahim Suleiman

Talented actress Linda Ejiofor met his colleague and TV personality Ibrahim Suleiman on the set of the hit TV show.

Their relationship began as friends, but they later took it further and got married on November 4, 2018. Their first child was just welcomed.

The actors have been blessed with a baby boy, Keon Iman who will be turning two in July 2023.

3. Blessing Jessica Obasi and Stan Nze

Popular actor Stan Nze also got married to his colleague Blessing Jessica Obasi.

Apart from the fact that they have been together in a number of films, including "You, Me, Us" and "Nothing More," there was practically nothing else indicating that they were in a relationship, much less planning to get married.

Since getting married in September 2021, the couple have frequently flaunted their love on social media.

4. Adedimeji Lateef and Bimpe Oyebade

In December 2021, Lateef and Bimpe were united in marriage in a lavish ceremony that may have qualified as the celebrity wedding of the year due to the attendance of dignitaries and celebrities.

Bimpe Oyebade, often known as Mo Bimpe, is a young actress and model who has appeared alongside her spouse Lateef Adedimeji in a number of films, primarily Yoruba.

5. Mercy Aigbe and Kazim Adeoti:

Photos of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe's traditional wedding to businessman and filmmaker Kazim Adeoti appeared online in January 2022, sparking debate and making news.

There were reports that Kazim Adeoti was already married and has four children and it sparked an uproar.

The couple despite criticisms, have been leaving their best lives, going on vacations here and there.

Mercy Aigbe recently even converted from Christianity to Islam as she sayss her new nmae is Hajia Meenaah Mercy Adeoti.

6. Frederick Leonard and Peggy Ovire:

Nollywood actors Frederick Leonard and Peggy Ovire stirred reactions on social media after Frederick took to social media to wish Peggy a happy birthday while confessing his unending love for her.

The two later announced their marriage date and got married on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Warri, Delta State.

The occasion was attended by numerous dignitaries and celebrities who shared in their joy.

Following their nuptials, the two have constantly flaunted each other on social media.
