Nollywood actor Onny Michael has responded to some insensitive remarks by social media users concerning the demise of actor Yul Edochie's first son Kambilichukwu.

Recall that the 15-year-old lost conciousness while playing football with friends and was rushed to the hospital for medical care but attempts to revive him proved futile.

Despite Yul's absence from social media, some internet users flooded his Instagram profile with accusations that he was to blame for his son's passing because of the contentious union between him and actress Judy Austin.

In response, Onny Michael posted a video on Instagram in which he expressed sympathy for the mourning family and pleaded with netizens not to draw any conclusions about Yul's second marriage from the loss of his child.

In addition, he urged Nigerians to refrain from blaming the family during this trying time and instead express sympathy and comfort to them.

He said: “Nobody is above mistakes, my colleague Yul Edochie just lost his son and I went to Instagram, and saw comments of people writing a lot of awful things, it is not right. Whatever he might have done, we should have the heart of forgiveness.

“If it happens to you, you won’t be happy, it is a hard time for the family, they are mourning. This is not the time to start telling them negative words. They need words of encouragement, people should stop going to their pages to write heartbroken words.
