Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko trends after making proposed ministerial list

Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko is one of the trending topics on the popular microblogging app, Twitter, as he appears on the proposed ministerial list.

Online reports claim that the Lagos State native Jide Kosoko, who started acting when he was ten years old in 1964, will serve as the Tinubu administration's minister of state for Culture, Tourism, and State of Arts.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu still has 18 days to make the complete list public because he needs to name his cabinet within 60 days of assuming office on May 29.

The proposed ministerial list also names Austin Jay Jay Okocha, a former Super Eagles captain, as the state's minister of youth and sport development.

Fayemi Kayode, Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril (RTD), Simon Lalong, Nyesome Wike, Nasril El Rufai, Festus Keyamu, Andy Uba, Gboyega Oyetola, Sen. Teslim Folarin, Sadique Abubakar, Bello Matawalle, Abubakar Badaru, and others are also included on the list.

@AnthonyEhilebo, a verified Twitter user, wrote: “I just saw a ministerial list plus portfolio..Not Confirmed Attorney General of the Federation – Dr Hassan M Liman (SAN) Solicitor General of the Federation – Babatunde Ogala.”
