Nigerian singer and songwriter, Inetimi Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya has dispensed a piece of advice to his followers on social media.

The 42-year-old multiple award-winner on New Year's Day disclosed that people with no money are not respected.

Timaya disclosed this in a tweet as part of his New Year messages to his followers on the microblogging app, ''If you don't have money nobody will respect U'', he tweeted.
