Veteran performer Charly Boy has made indications that the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, may soon be released.

The political commentator said this while brushing off the notion that Northerners have animosity for Igbos.

Charly Boy also warned of Igbo sabotage activities against Kanu's release in a post on his X page.

He said: “I am not a Sowore fan but on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s right, he got it right.

“Northerners can hate the Igbos all they want but they can Never Stop their Shine.

“To all the Saboteurs in Igbo land, there are people taking note, they see all that you scum bags do.

“For me, I am only waiting for the D day, cos I know it’s fast approaching.
Dia Fathers.”

This occurred after several Igbo politicians were accused by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of impeding efforts to free Nnamdi Kanu.

According to IPOB, politicians attempting to thwart Nnamdi Kanu's release should immediately backtrack.

The spokesperson for IPOB, Emma Powerful, also noted that these politicians ought to be prepared to accept the repercussions of their acts.

This is happening after senators and governors from the Southeast decided to meet with President Bola Tinubu to discuss a potential political resolution for Kanu.
