Vivian, the wife of popular Nigerian media personality Nkubi, recently shared a jaw-dropping experience that has set social media buzzing. In an interview on “Pulse One-on-One”, she recounted how a routine pregnancy visit turned into an unforgettable moment.

According to Vivian, she went to the hospital to show her doctor the results of her pregnancy scan. The conversation took an unexpected turn when the doctor asked whether there was a history of dwarfism in her family. Vivian explained that while her family had no such history, her husband, Nkubi, who is of short stature, did.

What followed left her stunned: the doctor allegedly asked why she hadn’t considered letting her brother-in-law or another man father her child instead of her husband. She also claimed the doctor suggested the use of a sperm donor rather than getting pregnant with Nkubi.

Vivian expressed frustration over the incident, saying it reflects how people living with dwarfism in Nigeria face unequal treatment and limited support compared to others.

For context, Nkubi, whose real name is Udochukwu Victor, and Vivian are parents to a daughter, Soromtochukwu.
